Berkeley
(Summer 2015 MCATs)
For Semester and Quarter System Students

Class Schedule.
We offer two starting dates for the summer 2015 MCATs. The first begins on Saturday, May 30th, immediately after the end of the spring semester at the University of California at Berkeley (UCB). This start date is best for those students on a semester (S) system. The second begins on Saturday, June 13th, immediately after the end of the spring quarter at all University of California schools that participate in the quarter system. This start date is best for those students on a quarter (Q) system. Students on either a semester system or a quarter system can choose from Sessions I, II, III, and IV.

Sessions I - IV will prepare you for the summer MCATs given on the following dates:

August 5, 2015 (Wednesday morning exam)
August 6, 2015 (Thursday morning exam)
August 21, 2015 (Friday morning exam)
August 22, 2015 (Saturday morning exam)
September 3, 2015 (Thursday morning exam)
September 11, 2015 (Friday morning exam)
September 12, 2015 (Saturday morning exam)

If you are on a Quarter system.
For those students on a Quarter system, the first day of class is Saturday, June 13th. The opening lectures on that day (The MCAT: Preview & Introduction, Biology: Reproduction and Development, and Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Emotion) are from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm only. Also, as outlined in the PDF of the lecture schedule (see the table below), there is one (1) day (Sunday 6/14) where you will attend class for seven (7) hours, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, and four (4) days (Friday 6/19, Saturday 6/20, Friday 6/26, and Saturday 6/27) where you will attend class for four (4) hours each day, from 9:00 am -1:00 pm only. We call these "Double/Triple Days," because you will be completing two or three unique lectures in one day. Once these double/triple days are completed the quarter and semester system students will be on the same lecture schedule for the remainder of the summer review program.

Choosing The Right Testing Date.
With the introduction of the new Computer Based Test (CBT) for the MCAT and the availability of multiple testing days, choosing an MCAT testing date that is right for you now becomes paramount.
